Els schijnt overvallen te zijn met een mes, maar reageerde totaal op dat drama maar zocht juist een oprechte verbinding en dat lukte. De man ontdooide en ze hebben vervolgens uren nagepraat. Ze is later zelfs bij hem thuis wezen eten. Met LuMens proberen we mee te stuwen aan een wereld in harmonie waarin we niet meer blind zijn voor elkaars essentie, ons niet meer voor de gek laten houden door de maskers die iemand op heeft. Het verhaal van Els sprak ons enorm tot de verbeelding. We hebben contact gelegd en Els geïnterviewd over hoe zij in het leven staat en tot zo'n sterk de-escalerend karakter is gekomen. Vera is een thought leader op het gebied van emoties en non-dualisme en een veelgevraagd spreker, trainer en coach. Dat laatste lukt volgens haar alleen als je neutraal kunt reageren op emoties die in je opkomen. Het is niet de waarheid maar een overtuiging die je hebt over wat er gaande is en waar emotie op reageert. Elke situatie roept weer andere associaties en daarmee een combinatie van emoties op. Katie is de initiatiefnemer van Agenda 2029. Ze studeerde Bèta-Gamma (een brede bachelor waarin vraagstukken vanuit meerdere disciplines worden benaderd ) met een major in ecologie. Ze deed de master Culturele en Sociale Antropologie. Beide aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam. Gedurende haar studententijd was ze actief in het politieke domein. Daaropvolgend verdiepte ze zich steeds meer in de fundamenten waarop onze cultuur stoelt. Ze ondervond hoe groot de invloed is van deze (vaak onderbelichte) fundamenten op onze manier van leven. Deze verdieping resulteerde uiteindelijk in Agenda 2029, het goed doordachte alternatief voor de door schaarste en angst gedreven SDG’s (Sustainable Development Goals) in Agenda 2030 van de Verenigde Naties. Katie denkt dat er met agenda 2029 een veel beter resultaat geboekt kan worden. Haar agenda stoelt op overvloed in plaat van schaarste, en verbinding in plaats van gescheidenheid. Zodoende hoeft het één niet ten koste te gaan van het ander. Met onze oneindige creativiteit kunnen we een wereld bewerkstelligen waarin mensen geen genoegen hoeven te nemen met overleven, maar weer mogen gaan leven. Ons volledig gaan ontplooien. Tevens mag de natuur weer ten volste gaan floreren, zonder dat mensen daar hun autonomie voor hoeven op te offeren. Kortom we mogen het potentieel van zowel de mens als de aarde gaan erkennen, en gaan realiseren. Daarom schreef ze de 16 Realise Potential Goals (RPG’s). Agenda 2029 zet met deze doelen een stipje op de horizon van de wereld die we wél willen. Want de wereld overkomt ons niet, die scheppen wij samen. Wij kunnen samen gaan kiezen om de wereld weer in paradijselijke staat te herstellen. RPG 1: Een maatschappij vol vrije en krachtige individuen Veel mensen ervaren een ongezonde afhankelijkheidsrelatie met de staat. Wij denken dat dit anders kan. We kunnen de samenleving zo gaan inrichten dat we elkaar gaan aanspreken in onze kracht, zodat we samen een waarachtig vrije samenleving kunnen gaan creëren. Dit vergt wel innerlijk werk. In Nederland beschikken we over veel waardevolle kennis om zowel ten volste in onze kracht te gaan staan, onszelf te verlossen van geïnternaliseerde overtuigingen, als kennis en kunde om onze trauma’s aan te verwerken. Het streven is dat deze kennis voor iedereen beschikbaar wordt en dat elk mens de mogelijkheid heeft om zijn trauma’s te helen, zodat dit niet meer geprojecteerd hoeft de worden op de buitenwereld. RPG 2: Voor iedereen de meest voedzame (nutriëntvolle) maaltijd Als we uitgaan van overvloed hoeven we geen genoegen te nemen met slechts het stillen van honger. Dan mogen we streven naar de meest voedzame, nutriëntvolle en smakelijke maaltijd. Met het juiste bodembeheer creëren we een rijke bodem waarvan we hoogwaardige gewassen kunnen oogsten. Wij gaan op deze landelijke locatie in gesprek met coach en IFS therapeut, Roosmarijn van Baarsen. Roosmarijn studeerde psychologie aan de universiteit van Leiden met een master in ‘Child and adolescent psychology’. Hierna volgde ze diverse trainingen en cursussen, waaronder de driejarige opleiding tot integraal coach. Momenteel is ze bezig met de afronding van de training ‘Internal family system (IFS) therapie’. Ferdinand en Roos gaan in gesprek over authentiek relateren, hoe je dat doet zowel in een groep als met een partner. Dit thema raakt ieder mens tot in de diepte. Er valt een wereld aan inzichten over te geven zodat we vreedzaam in volledigheid kunnen gaan leven. Roosmarijn woont samen met haar 9-jarige zoontje en 7 andere mensen in een woongroep. De woongemeenschap is een tijdelijk project dat Roosmarijn begin dit jaar, samen met twee andere mensen, is gestart. Het project loopt tot eind augustus 2024. Het pand dat ze tijdelijk huren is een woning uit 1864 met een woonoppervlakte van bijna 450m2. De gemeenschap is een groep die ze gezamenlijk hebben gevormd, waarbij alle leden op hetzelfde moment zijn ingestapt. Ze wonen en leven samen, waarbij ze niet alleen tuin, keuken, woonkamer en badkamer delen, maar ook de wens om het community leven met elkaar te ervaren. In haar dagelijks leven werk Roosmarijn vanuit haar eigen praktijk als coach en IFS therapeut. Sommige periodes in het jaar is ze tevens actief als theatermaker met haar eigen bedrijfje IK Theater. Hiermee maak ze persoonlijke theaterstukken over mensen hun leven. Wat haar drijft is het verlangen naar verbinding en community. Dit heeft ze de afgelopen jaren in vele vormen om haar heen verzameld en vergaard. Ze creëert, faciliteert en neemt deel aan verschillende vormen van communities. Het centrale thema is dat mensen elkaar daar kunnen ontmoeten, met elkaar kunnen verbinden en verdiepen. Naast de vriendengroep waar ze deel van uitmaak, heeft ze ook een vrouwenzangcirkel die minimaal twee keer per maand samenkomt. Daarnaast faciliteert ze eens per maand Yurtdagen die gaan over authentiek contact en verbinding maken en organiseert ze groepsvakanties. It's not without reasons he's called to be a 'modern prophet' by the Sunday Times. Rupert has proven in many ways a number of paradigm shifting phenomena, such as telepathy, non-local consciousness and he is the promotor of a phenomena he calls 'morphic resonance'. Rupert states that the whole universe and life is under continues evolution and development, including the 'laws' of physics. He asks the profound question: "Why would the so called 'constants' and 'laws' be constant since the beginning of the universe until the end of it?" Hij geeft cursussen, workshops en trainingen en begeleid individueel mensen die te maken hebben met psychopathie en destructieve relaties. Daarnaast geeft Jan intervisie en advies aan juristen, mediators en mensen werkzaam in de (geestelijke) gezondheidszorg en de jeugdbeschermingsketen. Volgens Jan is de studie van het bewustzijn - de wetenschap van het weten - het fundament voor alle kennis. Zonder bewustzijn verdwijnt de hele wereld en is er sprake van innerlijke armoede. Als bewustzijnsdeskundige helpt hij mensen bij de ontplooiing van het bewustzijn, het verdiepen van het innerlijk comfort en het daarbij ervaren van levensvreugde. Verder heeft Jan een achtergrond in de Vedische wetenschap, de wetenschappelijke en spirituele tradities uit het oude India. De Vedische wetenschap is gebaseerd op de beschaving en wijsheid van de Veda’s. Het omvat diverse takken van wetenschap maar de kern ervan is de wetenschap van het bewustzijn zelf. Deze eeuwenoude kennis heeft mensen over de hele wereld geïnspireerd om zinvol te leven, te groeien en door de jaren heen meer geluk en tevredenheid te ervaren. In zijn werk liep Jan regelmatig tegen mensen aan, die niet in staat waren om hun bewustzijn te ontwikkelen. Toen hij dit verder ging onderzoeken, kwam hij erachter dat deze mensen te maken hebben met een bewustzijnsgebrek, of anders gezegd een intens gebrek aan empathie en geweten en een onvermogen om contact te maken met zichzelf en met anderen. Deze mensen lijden aan psychopathie, een ernstige stoornis van het geweten. Bij ongeveer één op de twintig mensen is het licht van hun geweten zo zwak dat zij zich innerlijk niet kunnen ontwikkelen. A lot of people still use wattage to talk about the brightness of lamps, when in reality lumens are the measure of light output. Wattage is still useful to know as an electrician, but we need to stop using it to talk about the BRIGHTNESS of a light. 👾🤖PRACTICE EXAMS🤖👾 🤍 😎👕MERCH👕😎 🤍 📲👥SOCIALS👥📲 Instagram - 🤍 Discord - 🤍 Facebook Page - 🤍 Facebook Group - 🤍 TikTok - 🤍 Wattage Wattage is used as a unit of measure for electrical consumption in a piece of equipment. It’s talking about how much power is being used, and has nothing to do with how much light is being put out, what the color of the light is, or how efficient it is at doing so. You really only need to know wattage for 2 reasons. One is to calculate how many lamps you can install on a circuit. For instance say you have a 20-amp, 120-volt circuit that you need to install 10 60-watt lamps on. You can do the math using the PIE wheel to figure out how much wattage you have to work with on a full circuit. To do this you’d multiply 120v x 20a = 2,400 watts max. Then you’d take 10 x 60w to calculate how much wattage your 10 60-watt lamps will use - and you get 600 watts. 600-watts can fit into a 2,400-watt circuit so you know you won’t trip a 20-amp breaker with this installation. Again, this is simply telling you how much power the lamps are consuming, not anything about their brightness. The second reason you’d want to know watts is for calculating your energy bill. Every electrical meter uses total wattage-used over time. So you’re charged based on watt-hours. If you know how much the power company charges you per watt-hour, as well as how many watts your building/home uses - you can calculate your electric bill within a reasonable amount of certainty. LUMENS Where brightness of a light-source is concerned, you want to use lumens as the unit of measure. Lumens tells you how much light is coming out of a light-source, not how much energy it is consuming to do so. A 500 lumen incandescent lamp at 25-watts will be relatively dim. However a 12.5-watt LED that puts out 1,000 lumens of light, will be far brighter even though the wattage is lower. I like to think of lumens as a flood or “flow” of photons. If you have a really high lumen output, like 15,000 lumens, there will be a massive flood of photons coming out of that light source. Conversely if you have a lamp that only puts out 150 lumens, it will conceptually “trickle” photons out. The higher the lumen output of a lamp, simply put, the brighter that light will be. So, a 40 watt bulb will use 40 Joules per second. However LED bulbs which use less electricity usually say replacement, which means that it will only use 5.5 watts or 5.5 joules per second to give you the same brightness as a traditional 40 watt bulb. Lumens is the measure of brightness or amount of visible light generated. A higher number means a brighter light. This small bulb gives off only 460 lumens while this large, brighter flood light gives off 1750 lumens. LED lights can produce more lumens at lower watts which means that they are brighter while using less power. Lumens per watt or efficacy is the total light output divided by the total power input. For this candelabra bulb, it’s 515 lumens divided by 5 watts or 103. The higher the efficacy rating, the less it will cost to use it. Estimated yearly energy cost is based on a 3 hour per day usage and a 11 center per kilo watt hour cost. Be sure to check your local rate for a more accurate number. While energy costs 11.71 cents per kwh in Texas, it’s 31 cents per kwh in Hawaii. Life hours is the average life of a bulb as determined by engineering testing and probability analysis. A traditional 40-watt incandescent, 500-lumens light bulb has 1,500 life hours. An equivalent CFL provides 10,000 life hours and an equivalent LED typically provides 25,000 life hours. Color temperature is expressed in Kelvin usually ranging from 2000 kelvin or candle light to 10000 kelvin or a blue sky. 2700 Kelvin is a yellow, warm, calming and inviting light given off by incandescent and high pressure sodium bulbs. It’s used in homes and restaurants. 3500K is a cool white light given off by halogen bulbs. It’s used in offices, receptions, and supermarkets. 4000K is a natural white light given off by metal halide bulbs. 4800K is the color temperature of direct sunlight. 5000K is a crisp, cool blue-ish daylight. It’s used in garages, security lighting, jewelry display cases and warehouses. 7000k is a cold white light. 10,000 kelvin is a cold, blue light used above aquariums. Color accuracy, color rendering index or CRI is the effect of a light source on the color appearance of illuminated objects. It’s rated on a scale of 1 to 100 with 100 being the most accurate and 1 being the least. Incandescent light bulbs typically are 100 CRI, CFL light bulbs are 82-88 CRI, and LED light bulbs can range from 65 to 90 CRI. All these CREE light bulbs have an energy star certification which means that they meet strict energy efficiency guidelines set by the US Environmental Protection Agency. They use 90% less energy than standard bulbs, they last at least 15 times longer and save about $50 in electricity costs over its lifetime. Title CA20 are regulations set by the California Energy Commission in order to reduce the amount of energy consumed by lighting products. Dimmable light bulbs can change the lumens or brightness if used with a compatible dimmer switch. Using a non-dimmable bulb in a dimmable circuit can damage both the lamp and the circuit. All incandescent and halogen bulbs work with nearly every dimmer switch and can be dimmed completely. Enclosed use indicates whether the bulb can be encased in a way that doesn’t have proper airflow or ventilation. Heat is the enemy of LED light bulbs. If the LED chips overheat, they can shorten the lifespan of the bulb. An indoor and outdoor label means that the bulb can be used in both instances. It can handle damp or wet conditions. The last 2 things we’re going to discuss are the base and bulb sizes. There are many different types of bulb bases, the most common is called an Edison Screw or ES base. There are also many different light bulb shapes and sizes. The numbers that follow refer to the diameter of the bulb or lamps in eighths of an inch. For example, an A19 bulb is a teardrop shape bulb which is 19/8” or 2 ⅜” in diameter. A T8 tube is 8/8” or 1” in diameter.
